Five years into SEO, I'm still curious about one thing: why does one page win the top spot while a similar one disappears? This page is the short version of who I am and how I think about your growth.
My path into search wasn't a straight line. Each step taught me something I still use on client projects today.
Before SEO, I worked in graphic design. It taught me how people look at a page and what makes them stay or leave, a habit that still shapes how I judge content and layout. But I wanted work where results could be measured, so I moved to search.
My longest stretch has been in off-page work. Day to day that meant researching relevant publications, writing to editors, producing articles worth publishing, and earning links from sites that actually matter. I judge a link by what it does for rankings, not by how it looks in a spreadsheet.
Over the years I got into the habit of treating every site as an experiment. Form a theory, make one change, then watch Search Console and rankings to see what really moved. That routine is why I trust data over opinions, including my own.
People increasingly ask AI tools instead of typing keywords into Google. So my work now includes making your pages clear, structured and trustworthy enough to be quoted in those answers, alongside the classic rankings that still bring in most traffic.
Four rules I follow on every project.
There is no account manager between us. Questions go to me and answers come from me.
Every recommendation is backed by data from your own site, so we invest time only where it can pay off.
No bought links, no keyword stuffing, no shortcuts that put your site at risk. Growth that lasts is the only kind worth building.
You get updates without jargon, so you always know what was done, what changed and what comes next.
Strong technical foundations and useful content come first. On top of that, I optimise for AI search so your business can be found whichever way customers choose to look.
